Last week’s sweet inspired me. I mean, pecan pie is delicious but sometimes you need more of a kick. Since I had run across pecan pie flavored whiskey at the store not long ago and I had some ginger beer on hand, there was nothing stopping me from making a lovely cocktail.
I mix 1 1/2 ounces of whiskey with 4 ounces of the ginger beer. If the ginger beer is too spicy, go with a regular ginger ale.
If I was Sookie, I would’ve gone this route. But, hey, we all cry in different ways.
